Just some random stuff

Once again, I've taken some time off. Sue me. I have other things going on and if I don't have much to say, what's the point in writing? I'm not going to throw a bunch of words together every week, or every day, and pretend it's some great, profound piece. That's how you end up with mediocrity and repetition.

Someone left a comment that I had to delete because I don't want the multitude of haters to have this person's email (assuming that everything was legit). Especially since it appears that the person in question lives in T.H.E. most liberal place in my state. I was there recently and it's horrible. Idiots on bicycles think they own the road and will gladly dart out in front of your car without looking. Fat chicks with Skrillex haircuts everywhere. Women that weigh what they ought to weigh, and WOULD be attractive, with Skrillex haircuts. Or their heads are shaved. Hipsters. Hippies. People that haven't figured out that the 90's grunge thing is over, and it's time to take a shower and start doing their laundry again. Ick. I so dislike going to that city. It's like our own little slice of Berkley. I don't really get why anyone that's not somehow connected to the college would want to live there. But to each their own. There are probably a lot of people who can't understand why I would want to live in a little out-of-the-way part of the state.

I've been doing the keto diet off and on for a couple months now. I say off and on because we (a friend of mine, who's also my workout partner) have had a couple cheat days here and there, and taken a week off once. Even with all that, I like the results I've gotten with changing my eating habits and changing up my workouts. There is still progress that can be made, but then, there's ALWAYS progress that can be made. Unfortunately, things have gotten kind of fucked up due to where I've been working. There's no good gym here, so it's either make due with the shitty excuse for a weight room that's available, or drive almost an hour each way to a town or city that has something good. And when you're getting up at 2 a.m. to leave for work by 3, and working 14 hours, that hour drive is less than appealing.

Rest easy, BB King. You've earned it.
